Verbs: "to do" and "to like" - (Simple Past )

Hello, everyone!
Today in class we learned some verbs in the simple past tense form. Here is a review of the verbs from today: 

     1. VERB: "to do"   

  • Tense: simple past
  • Form:  irregular verb
      ____present_tense___simple_past____                                            
         I             do                                ---->"I did homework."     
        You          do                  did  ---->"You did homework." 
        He/She     does                     ---->"He/She did homework." 
        They         do                               ---->"They did homework."   
        We           do                               ---->"We did homework." 


              Answer the question: "What did you do yesterday?"
                  Example: "I did the laundry."


             2. VERB: "to like"
        • Tense: simple past
        • Form: regular [VERB+ed]
          ____present_tense____simple_past____                                                 
              I           like                                 ---->"I liked the movie."     
             You        like                 liked   ---->"You liked the movie." 
             He/She   likes                         ---->"He/She liked the movie." 
             They       like                                  ---->"They liked the movie."   
             We         like                                  ---->"We liked the movie." 


                  Answer the question: "What did you like as a child?"

                      Example: "I liked Chinese food."
